About
Street dance, in your school hall
Junction Dance was set up to give primary school children a real street dance class without the studio, the travel or the expense that usually comes with it.
We run after-school clubs in primary school halls, grouped by year so the teaching lands properly: Minis for Reception to Year 2, Juniors for Years 3 and 4, and Crew for Years 5 and 6. Children learn hip hop and street dance — grooves, isolations, footwork and full routines — set to current music chosen carefully for a school audience.
Each half term builds towards a performance. Some children come for the showcase, some come because their friends do, and some arrive shy and leave running the warm-up. All three are fine by us.

Who teaches
Mia
Mia is a professional choreographer with eight years of experience teaching children. She plans every session herself, adapts it in the room, and keeps the energy high without losing the technique underneath it.
Junction Dance is DBS checked and insured, and works directly with schools on safeguarding, registers and handover at the end of each club.
